Looking for an eq that will play well with my Phillips shp9500 and V-moda boom pro mic. Mainly play shooters and battle royale. Plugged into controller it is very natural, through the mixamp it seems a bit harsh/earbleeding on highs. Have tried quite a few of the eq’s posted here and the flat Astro one. Tried searching forums and came up short.

I am buying a MMX300 and would like to know how to connect it to my MixAmp Pro TR and PS4 (I've been using an A40 with them). The MMX 300 has just one cable, as I understand it. So how does it connect to the MixAmp? And do I need to change the way the MixAmp is connected to the PS4?

Hi Guys,
Is it possible that I dub the software from the Mixamp Pro for the Xbox with the software of the PS4?
I have accidentally bought the wrong HEadset on the net and to be able to use it on the PS4, I have to switch to the PC mode.

The second problem that I have the PS4 Slim has no optical input / output and I with a Hdmi Toslink Converter Work.
Everything works quite well except that the microphone echoes and the people in the party twice or hear my system and ingamesound.

i've tried all eq presets i have seen@english posts and wasn't satisfied
Here is my preset for FPS, Fighting, RPG, and music, might need a tiny tweak@top freq sliders to fit your needs

Hi, so I got my TRs yesterday and been having troubles on MWR (COD) on hearing peoples footsteps in competitive. One of my team mates has the version down from the TRs and hears more than me. I struggle to hear peoples footsteps and hear more map sounds and gun fire etc. I sometimes hear reloading but such as running, jumping, mounting etc I cannot hear very well....
I am running version 28361.
I need some good EQ setting for MWR to hear footsteps more clearer and not just hearing the massive...

Hello,

I am using a Astro A50 Gen3 (PS4 SLIM) with the latest firmware. Whenever I use the default EQ's they are absolutely fine however when I use presets from ZaliaS' Collection, Ether Collection Etc they are all very muffled/fuzzy/Stereo type sound and this is very strange as the nearly all of these presets have great reviews.

Could anyone please provide me with some guidance to this issue it would be much appreciated

A huge part of the reason to have the gen 3 Astro a50 headphones is it's surround sound (even if faked). When I'm using the "pure audio" and other presets, it makes an unnatural "tingy" sound during a lot of parts of movies. Usually when a character shuts a door or taps something, sometimes even with higher pitched character voices, it creates an uncomfortable echo.

I assume this is because of these presets being designed around hearing footsteps in video games. That's great and all but I'd...

Hello everyone! I have an Elgato and Astro A40 TR's for Xbox One and I always have a buzzing noise when I have my 3.5mm cable in my AUX port in my mixamp and also in my computer. This one guy on YouTube suggested that I need a better quality cable. Is there any other fix? Thank you!

Hi all,

I’m hoping with all of you techies out there, you’d be able to help me with this...

I have been an Astro fiend since 2010 and got headsets back when they came with basic EQ profiles that were toggled with a switch on board the headset and sounded pretty darn good considering. That being said, I’ve been running the A40 TR + Mixamp Pro TR for a couple years now and have gotten quite used to the EQ setting I’ve been using (mainly Fusion and beast mode) and they sound pretty good but......
